These Terms & Conditions govern your use of https://competitivelawn.com and any purchase you make from Competitive Lawn LLC. By using our site or placing an order, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your location, and able to enter a binding contract. If you create an account, you agree to provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and accept responsibility for activity under your account.

Our products — the nature of seed

We sell living, perishable seed. Germination and establishment depend on factors outside our control, including soil, climate, planting depth, watering, weather, timing, and ongoing care. We describe each product to the best of our knowledge and follow the truth-in-labeling requirements of the federal Federal Seed Act, including purity, germination, and noxious-weed disclosures where applicable. Product photographs are illustrative, and mature lawns will vary by site.

Orders, pricing, and payment

Prices are shown in US dollars and may change at any time. When you place an order you are making an offer to buy; we may accept, decline, or cancel an order, for example if an item is out of stock, if there is an error in pricing or description, or if a product cannot lawfully be shipped to your location. Payment is processed securely through Stripe. You are responsible for any applicable taxes shown at checkout. If we discover a pricing error after you order, we will contact you before charging or shipping.

Shipping, returns, and restrictions

Shipping terms, delivery estimates, and state seed restrictions are described in our Shipping Policy. Returns and refunds are described in our Refund & Returns Policy. Both are incorporated into these terms.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the site: no unlawful activity, no attempts to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to our systems, no scraping or resale of content without permission, and no use of our seed for any unlawful purpose.

Intellectual property

The content on this site — text, photographs, graphics, guides, and the Competitive Lawn name and product brands — is owned by Competitive Lawn LLC or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, republish, or use it commercially without our written permission.

Reviews and user content

If you submit a review or other content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, display, and reproduce it in connection with our business. You are responsible for what you submit, and it must be accurate, lawful, and not infringe anyone’s rights. We may remove content at our discretion.

Disclaimers

Our guides and product information are provided for general educational purposes and are not a guarantee of results, nor professional agronomic, horticultural, legal, or veterinary advice. Except where a warranty is required by law, products are provided “as is” with respect to lawn outcomes, and we do not warrant that any specific establishment result will be achieved.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Competitive Lawn LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or our products. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the product giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have that cannot be waived under applicable law.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Competitive Lawn LLC and its officers and staff from claims arising out of your misuse of the site or breach of these terms.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. We ask that you contact us first so we can try to resolve any dispute informally. If we cannot, disputes will be handled by the state or federal courts located in Pennsylvania, and you consent to their jurisdiction, except where applicable law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.

Changes, severability, and entire agreement

We may update these terms from time to time; the “last updated” date shows when. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Together with our policies referenced above, these terms are the entire agreement between you and Competitive Lawn LLC regarding your use of the site.
