Accessibility Statement

Our commitment to an accessible website, the standard we build to, and how to reach us if you hit a barrier.

Last updated: 1 July 2026

Our commitment

Competitive Lawn is committed to making our website usable by as many people as possible, including people who rely on assistive technology. We treat accessibility as an ongoing part of how we design and build the site, not a one-time task.

Conformance target

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, the standard widely referenced by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) for the web. We build against these criteria and review our pages as we publish and update them.

What we have done

Measures built into the site include: semantic HTML with clear headings and landmarks; descriptive alternative text on meaningful images; full keyboard operability with visible focus indicators; text and interface colours that meet AA contrast ratios; data tables with captions and properly scoped row and column headers; support for reduced-motion preferences; labelled navigation and breadcrumbs; and layouts that reflow and remain readable when zoomed or viewed on small screens.

Known limitations

Some third-party components, such as embedded payment fields and mapping tools, are provided by outside services and may not fully match our standards at all times. Where we identify a barrier, we work to fix it or offer an accessible alternative.

Feedback and getting help

If you encounter any difficulty using our site, or need information in an alternative accessible format, please tell us. Include the page address and a short description of the problem, and we will do our best to respond promptly and provide the information or complete your request another way, such as by phone or email.

How we assess accessibility

We assess this site through a combination of automated checks, manual keyboard and screen-reader testing, and review against the WCAG criteria above. Accessibility is reviewed as we add and revise content.

Specific measures we apply

Against WCAG 2.1 Level AA we work to provide text alternatives for meaningful images, sufficient colour contrast for text and controls, content that can be operated by keyboard alone, a visible focus indicator on interactive elements, text that can be resized up to 200% without loss of content, layouts that reflow to a single column on narrow screens, consistent and predictable navigation, clear labels and instructions on forms, and headings and landmarks that let assistive technology move through a page in a logical order.

Assistive technology and alternative formats

We aim to support current versions of common screen readers, screen magnifiers, and speech-input tools used with up-to-date browsers. If any information on the site is difficult to access, we will provide it to you in an alternative format — for example, reading order details over the phone or sending them by email. Tell us what you need and how you would like to receive it, and we will arrange it.
