Case Study Template: Municipal Meadow

This is the framework we use to document real municipal and institutional projects as they complete — not a finished case study yet.

What this will document

The structure, once real projects are recorded

  • Site & procurement path. How the project was scoped and approved — RFP, direct engagement, or grant-funded.
  • Species & area. What was planted, over what acreage, and the site-specific constraints that shaped the choice.
  • Reporting & compliance. Any impact reporting or grant documentation the project required — see our Impact Report service.
  • Outcome, honestly reported. Establishment results, maintenance burden versus the prior turf, and any lessons for the next phase.
Why this is a template, not a finished case study

Being upfront about where this stands

As with our HOA template, we would rather be honest that this page is a framework than publish invented results. If you are managing a municipal or institutional project and would consider being featured once it is complete, reach out.

Working on a municipal or institutional project?

We would love to document it here, with your permission.

The blend that solves this

A single species is an ingredient. The blend is the answer.

Sunmeadow Sun Wildflower Lawn Mixwildflowers + fescue. Full-sun meadow. Buy the blend when the job needs more than one plant — the grass carries the wear, the clover feeds it, the flowers feed the bees. Buy the single species when you want one plant, one look, one job.
